One of our company’s core corporate philosophies is to give back to the community in the area which we operate in. We are looking to improve the lives of the communities in Central Kalimantan. Agritrade Resources is already providing jobs and various community improvements to the locals at Tamiang Layang, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. Our CSR team is also exploring plans to bring education and healthcare services to the area.
Our associates are currently constructing a 2 X 3.5 MW power plant at Tamiang Layang, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia to supply electricity for the communities nearby. The communities there will be able to benefit from this coal fired power plant, given the high power shortage in Indonesia. In addition, we have plans to manage our environment footprint in the region as well. As an emerging energy provider, we believe that protecting the environment is a fundamental responsibility. We are committed to reduce the environmental impact through responsible operational measures, operating efficiently, as well as the continuous research and development of a high energy value product with low pollutant properties for future market growth.

Vehicle Ownership Programme – Currently we leased more than half of our fleet of hauling trucks to the community, thereby and giving the people the opportunity to have a stable livelihood.
